What is Invisalign First?

Invisalign First can be used to correct issues like arch development and expansion, tooth spacing, crowding and protrusions, and to improve the overall appearance of the smile.

Invisalign First can be used to enhance the overall appearance of the smile by correcting issues such as arch development and expansion, teeth spacing, crowding, and protrusions.

How does Invisalign First work?

Through a process called dental arch expansion, Invisalign First expands and contours your child’s jawline. The process entails applying pressure to the teeth over time to widen the dental arc.

The first step in the Invisalign First process is a consultation meeting at our office to see if your child is a good candidate.

If your child is a fit , the orthodontist will take pictures, x-rays, and impressions of your child’s mouth, teeth and jaws. These images and impressions will be sent to an Invisalign lab, where your child’s Invisalign First aligner will be tailor-made.

When the aligner is ready, your child will come to our office for an appointment to have it fitted to their teeth.

The Invisalign will change your child’s teeth into their new positions during treatment. Depending on the severity of your child’s misalignment, a pair of aligners (for both the upper and lower jaw) or only one aligner may be needed.
